Pre-Screened Library Books

One of the most prized elements of My Father's World curriculum is the proprietary Book Basket™ which features a list of 300-400 pre-screened library books that encourage a love for reading and learning. Library books are organized by week, theme, and reading level.

Purposeful Design Mathematics

Purposeful Design Mathematics by ACSI uses a highly effective, mastery-based approach that helps your students truly understand "the why" behind math rather than just memorizing steps through:

Hands-On & Visual Learning: We introduce concepts in a natural, easy-to-grasp order: using concrete objects (manipulatives), moving to pictures, and finally transitioning to abstract numbers.

Strong Mental Math: Students are taught unique, logical strategies that allow them to calculate and solve everyday problems mentally, without always relying on pencil and paper.

Real-World Application: Lessons are paired with meaningful, real-life examples and STEM-focused projects that connect what they learn in the classroom to the world around them.

Differentiation

Students are met at their mastery level which needs to be obtained before advancement. Students will eventually catch up to their grade level, if not surpass it. Auditory/musical, spatial/visual, and kinesthetic/body learning strategies will be integrated into all math components. Logical/mathematical, interpersonal/understanding others, intrapersonal/understanding oneself, linguistic/verbal, and nature based strategies will as well.
