Pre-Screened Library Books

One of the most prized elements of My Father's World curriculum is the proprietary Book Basket™ which features a list of 300-400 pre-screened library books that encourage a love for reading and learning. Library books are organized by week, theme, and reading level.

Singapore Math-Dimensions

Dimensions Math uses a highly effective teaching approach based on research of math mastery in the country of Singapore, which consistently ranks among the top in international math testing. Your child will focus on less but gain more; fewer topics with greater depth. Concepts are presented in the order of concrete, pictorial, and then abstract.

Another strength of this approach is the strong mental math component. Logical, unique strategies are taught that help students truly understand mathematical concepts and apply them in new ways. Students are then able to solve problems mentally without always relying on paper and pencil.

Differentiation

Students are met at their mastery level which needs to be obtained before advancement. Students will eventually catch up to their grade level, if not surpass it. Auditory/musical, spatial/visual, and kinesthetic/body learning strategies will be integrated into all math components. Logical/mathematical, interpersonal/understanding others, intrapersonal/understanding oneself, linguistic/verbal, and nature based strategies will as well.
