Discipleship at Rhema

"But Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.'" Mathew 19:14

How We Invest in the Spiritual Growth of Your Child

We believe it’s just as important to help students grow spiritually as it is to help them succeed academically. Our teaching methods are designed to build a strong Biblical foundation in students’ lives and instill a love for God that results in a lasting relationship with Christ. Students’ confidence and self-worth is life-changing when they realize their identity is in Christ. (Colossians 3:1-4)

Worship

Each class worships the Lord by singing, drawing, praying, or writing each morning. This time devoted to our Heavenly Father develops intimacy with Him and unification in the body of Christ. Adoration is a powerful way to bring alive God’s Word and God’s Holy Spirit and helps students be in a place of prayer throughout their day.

“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.” Colossians 3:16

Daily Bible Integration

Bible scriptures are interwoven throughout all subject areas representing a Biblical Worldview helping students know God is with them everywhere all of the time. It is wise to follow where the Holy Spirit is leading.

“The Word of God is alive and active.” Hebrews 4:12

Discipleship

Head knowledge moves to heart experiences as students discern the voice of the Lord in every day decisions in their lives. In our culture, discipleship is provided for our students. Teachers pray for students, students pray for teachers, and students pray for each other. We are all forever learning and growing as we are all disciples of Jesus Christ.

“Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’” Mathew 28:18-20
